The Yorkshire Moors & Coast Tourism Partnership rewarded the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence of the region's many tourism businesses at their third annual awards ceremony held at the Scarborough Spa last night (25th November).

The Awards are the region's most prestigious in hospitality and tourism and include a range of categories for accommodation, attractions, eating places and retail businesses.

All tourism business in the Yorkshire Moors & Coast area have the opportunity to become a joint partner of the Yorkshire Moors & Coast Tourism Partnership and Welcome to Yorkshire. As a partner you will be able to benefit from the local, regional and international marketing of the area undertaken by both Welcome to Yorkshire and the tourism partnership.

The pilot phase of the RDPE Accommodation Scheme has now finished and Yorkshire Forward and Welcome to Yorkshire are currently reviewing the results. The outcome of the review will be made available at the end of June.
