Happy Birthday Cleveland Way!
The Cleveland Way National Trail turns 40 on 24th May. This 110 mile route which forms a horseshoe around the spectacular scenery of the North York Moors National Park is Britain's second oldest national trail. Starting in Helmsley and finishing in Filey, around 2,300 people walk the full length each year - that's around 92,000 pairs of boots since the trail opened!

On 24th May, local ramblers groups and staff from the North York Moors National Park Authority and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council will be walking different sections of the Cleveland Way to celebrate its birthday. Why not pull on your boots and walk a stretch yourself? More information can be found here.
