Gardens of North Yorkshire

Gardens of Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Moors and Coast boast a number of acclaimed gardens within easy reach of one another. Each of them offer a unique experience for visitors. From the magnificent and majestic through to the ornate and tranquil there is something to satisfy every taste.

The Gardens of Yorkshire promote eight uniquely stunning gardens all set within easy reach of one another in beautiful Ryedale, North Yorkshire, one of Britain's largest counties, and offers one of the most diverse landscapes in England.

The dramatic landscape of the North York Moors National Park is a striking contrast to the tranquil, gently rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds and the patchwork of farmland in the Vale of Pickering and the Vale of York. The mixed greens of fields and woodland in the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, add further variation.

The historic market towns and traditional Yorkshire villages that surround our gardens provide the visitor with high quality accommodation, places to eat, and great shopping. Of course they all offer a great Yorkshire welcome too!
