All Saints Church, Ugglebarnby at All Saints Church - UgglebarnbyAll Saints Church, Ugglebarnby at All Saints Church - Ugglebarnby

Opened in September 1872 and designed by Noel Armfield, All Saints is typical of the severe Gothic style of the Victorian period. Occupying what was once the site of a Norman chapel, dating from 1137, the present building incorporates stonework from the original church. Notable for its nave windows which include an image of Judas Iscariot with his purse, rare in church art, fine Caen stone reredos, unusual decorated roof and organ by J.M. Holdich.

Service times: 2nd Sun 0915 Mattins; 3rd Sun 0915 Eucharist.
